This was posted on the HMS Queen Elizabeth twitter-site – and what a great shot it is. Well done them; we thought it deserved a mention in its own right. So here it is.

(Did they really paint those stealth fighters red!!??)

If you have any good photos of anything to do with Poppy Day – please send them to us and will publish them straight away.

PS. Don’t forget to wear your Veterans Badge this weekend if you have been issued with one.

Remembrance is for the whole Nation, it is for Veterans and those still serving. After over thirty years of Service I am now one of the grey haired Veterans who wears their campaign medals with pride as I sell poppies at a local supermarket. I march on Remembrance Sunday and on the 11th of the 11th I lay a poppy wreath to those who made the ultimate sacrifice, I have not forgotten nor will I. Thank you for this superb picture.
