7 & 8 of The Vintage Sports-Car Club Speed Championships will be
contested at Loton Park this coming weekend 7th & 8th Sept. Set within the confines of the Loton Park estate’s picturesque deer park, the 1475-yard course is a great test for driver and machine. This course is definitely one of the favourites of VSCC members and over the two rounds of competition here this weekend you will be treated to a feast of Vintage competition. David Furnell currently leads the speed championship in his Austin 7 ‘The Toy’ but is being chased by Eddie Williams in a Frazer Nash. Other cars to look out for will of course include Chris William’s 1929 Napier Bentley and Jeremy Flann’s 1918 Curtis Le Zebre, both of whom will give a spectacular display of smoke and power! |
