As has been reported in a number of local and national journals, 106-year old Leslie Wilcox has had his war medals stolen for the second time in five years.

They include his own WW2 campaign medals including the General Service gongs for Palestine 1938, the 1945 Star; General Service 1936-1938, Italian Star 1939-1945, North Africa Star 1939-1945, and General Service 1939-1945.

His father’s medals were awarded for his service in the First War and included a bravery medal for action when he was on board HMS Swift.

Can you help? Do you have any contacts in the antiques of collectables markets who might know where to look? Anyone with information that could help to locate the medals should contact Kent Police on 01795 419119, quoting 46/150616/19.
